Dr. Caroline Le Poole, PhD
Bio
Dr. Caroline Le Poole is a full, tenured professor of Dermatology and Microbiology & Immunology, and a member of the Lurie Cancer Center. She holds a Master’s degree from Utrecht University in Molecular Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Bioprocess Technology and a Ph.D. in Medicine from the Department of Dermatology of the AMC/Amsterdam University in the Netherlands. Dr. Le Poole is a member of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), the Society of Investigative Dermatology (SID) and the Society for Melanoma Research SMR, and also a past President of the Pan-American Society for Pigment Cell Research and past Vice President of the International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies. She is currently an Associate Editor for Gene, Experimental Dermatology and Pigment Cell and Melanoma Research.
